  • Existing fitters needing to refresh and update
  • Those wishing to undertake practical training
  • Clinicians who counsel women regarding their contraceptive choices

Each half day session will provide 3 hours of education suitable for FSRH and local reaccreditation

IUD Provision - Morning (09:15 - 12:45) - Places Available

3hrs CME Suitable for DFSRH reaccreditation and intrauterine techniques/updating

An interactive theory course suitable for Doctors or Nurses

  • Intending to provide an Enhanced Service for IUDs
  • Working towards a Letter of Competence to augment the online (e-SRH) module 18
  • Needing to reaccredit their DFSRH, LOC or local IUD certificate
  • Wishing to update previous knowledge and their contraception counselling skills

Subdermal Implants & Hormonal Contraception - Afternoon (13:30 - 17:00) - Places Available

3hrs CME Suitable for DFSRH reaccreditation

An interactive theory course suitable for Doctors or Nurses

  • Intending to provide an Enhanced Service for Implants with local certification
  • Working towards an FSRH Letter of Competence to augment the online (e-SRH) module 17
  • Needing to reaccredit their DFSRH, LOC or local implant certificate
  • Wishing to update previous knowledge and their contraception counselling skills

Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare - Course of 5

Venue near Truro TBC - Applications invited

This is Step 5 of the education programme leading to the award of the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.

Further details can be found on the FSRH website.

The Course of 5 is a series of five proscribed hour long modules.

A group size of no more than four is stipulated by the FSRH to allow interaction and questions to be asked.

If you are interested in doing this course one option is to find three colleagues to form your own group of four.
We can then provide you with your own Course of 5 on a date and at a venue convenient for you.
